What this website knows about you.

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your phone or computer. It has no visitor statistics, no advertising and no accounts, and it does not know who you are or whether you have been here before.

The words, the typefaces, the photographs and the video all come from this site itself, so reading a page tells nobody else that you did.

What the hosting company records

Like every website, this one is kept on the computers of a hosting company, Hostinger. When your browser asks for a page, those computers note the request: the internet address it came from, the time, the page, and the kind of browser. These notes keep the site running and protect it from misuse. The parish does not use them to find out who anyone is.

The map on the Contact page

The one thing on this site that comes from another company is the map on the Contact page, which is Google’s. When you open that page your browser fetches the map from Google, which then sees your internet address and may set cookies of its own, under its own privacy policy. A Directions link opens Google Maps only when you choose it.

When you contact the parish

What you tell the parish office by telephone, by email or in person is used to answer you and to do what you asked: to book a Mass intention, to issue a certificate, to prepare for a sacrament.

The parish’s registers of baptisms, marriages and the other sacraments are kept in the parish office, as they always have been. None of them is on this website.

Giving, and the BLEST app

Nothing is paid or given through this website. Giving, Mass intentions, notices and events will belong to BLEST, the parish’s app, which will carry a privacy notice of its own when it is released.

If this changes

If the website ever begins to collect anything, such as visitor statistics, this page will say so before it does. If you have a question about any of this, please ask the parish office.
