Christmas at Fatima
Born for us.
The crib in the church, the carols in the compound, and the Masses of the night and the day.
Christmas Day
Friday 25 December 2026
The Masses of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day do not follow the usual times. The programme is published in the BLEST Member app each December, and the parish office can tell you.
The days of Christmas
Carols
Through December
The choirs sing in the compound and around the parish in the weeks before Christmas, and the Small Christian Communities carry the carols into the neighbourhoods.
The crib
From Christmas Eve
The parish builds its crib in the church, and the Child is laid in it at the Vigil. Children come to see it through the season, and it stays until the Baptism of the Lord.
Christmas Eve
24 December
The Vigil Mass of Christmas, on the evening of the 24th. The church is full; come early if you would like a seat.
Christmas Day
25 December
The Masses of Christmas Day, with the parish at its fullest, and the day given to families afterwards.
Everyone is welcome
Come at Christmas.
If it has been years, or if you have never been to a Catholic Mass, Christmas is as good a night as any to come. Sit wherever you like; nobody will ask you anything.
